Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Chicago, IL)

Stonegate West Care Services Partners supports families and individuals in Chicago with personal care and coordination, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
