Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Charlotte, NC)

Greenridge Meadow Insurance Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 446 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
