Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ashton Inspection Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
