Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Charleston, SC)

Northwind Stone Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Charleston, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
