Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Hollow Legal Group provides legal services in Buffalo across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
