Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Water Authority Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
