Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Boston, MA)

Clearpath Timber Pharma is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
