Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Vista Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Baltimore. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
