Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Atlanta, GA)

Northwind Field Financial Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
