Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Atlanta, GA)

Harborlight Hollow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Atlanta, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 856 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Turn requests about fare systems into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
