Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Atlanta, GA)

Clearpath Quill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Atlanta working with agencies and riders, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
