Software Engineer - mobile experience (Wichita, KS)

Bright Ashton Health provides primary and specialty care in Wichita, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about referrals into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
