Software Engineer - mobile experience (Wichita, KS)

Northwind Hollow Energy is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 856 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about billing disputes into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
