Software Engineer - mobile experience (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Stone Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
