Software Engineer - mobile experience (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Orchard Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
