Software Engineer - mobile experience (Spokane, WA)

Summit Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about learning materials into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
