Software Engineer - mobile experience (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Umber Energy and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
