Software Engineer - mobile experience (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Harbor Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
