Software Engineer - mobile experience (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Ridge Medical is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 798 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
