Software Engineer - mobile experience (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Thistle Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Rochester, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Turn requests about complaint handling into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
