Software Engineer - mobile experience (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Vale Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Richmond, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
