Software Engineer - mobile experience (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Loom Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
