Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Cedar Ashton Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
