Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
