Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Summit Quill Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Sacramento area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about customer tickets into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
