Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Bright Ashton Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Jose area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
