Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Loom Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
