Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cedar Inspection Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
