Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Silverline Corner Medical Group is a Honolulu company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 427 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
