Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Redstone Corner Learning Group is an education provider in Knoxville serving students and families. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
