Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Northwind Harbor Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Honolulu focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 115 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
