Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Cedar Summit Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Raleigh, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 366 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
