Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Silverline Learning Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 373 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about student accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
