Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Amberfield Orchard Care Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
