Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
