Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Stonegate Union Facilities is a facilities company in Raleigh with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
