Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Fern Energy and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
