Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Silverline Lantern Early Learning is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 978 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
