Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Cedar Sable Community Partners runs community programmes across Savannah, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
