Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Highbridge Bright Financial serves customers across Honolulu with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
