Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Bright Quarry Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
