Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Bluepeak Sparrow Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Raleigh, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
