Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Corner Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
