Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Mill Care Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
