Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Cedar Ashton Inspection Services Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about field inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
