Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Summit Willow Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Tulsa. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
