Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Sparrow Energy Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
