Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Silverline Hollow Transit Planning is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Turn requests about fare systems into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
