Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Yarrow Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
