Software Engineer - mobile experience (remote)

Redstone Kestrel Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Anchorage, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
